video-audio sync?

Hi
when i try to burn files to vcd/svcd or dvd everything seems ok until i try it on my dvd play then the audio seem to run a few seconds behind the video. Is this a common problem and can it be fixed???

sounds like a problem with the video encoding, is the audio is syncd when you play the file on your computer?

An unbelieably common problem. The two most common sources are:
1. cheap media (and I mean quality not price)
2. burning tooo fast (even if the media says it supports 8X, it doesnt mean that it supports 8X well ... and the ratings are given for DataDVD not DVDVideo)

Same thin applies to (S)VCDs
