I know that the video card and motherboard got to have the same the same video bus but does it have to be compatible with the processor also?
Because I have Athlon 64 3200+ and Abit AN8 motherboard with the Pci express x16. And want the Abit Radeon X600 video card but the System Requirements said that it needs

System Requirements
- 300-Watt Power Supply or higher is recommended
- Intel® LGA 775,P4/AMD® motherboard with one PCI-Express X16 slot
- One available PCI Express X16 slot
- 128MB System Memory
- CD-ROM or DVD-ROM Drive

would that be compatible with my pc.

If you have a pci-e 16x slot and 300watt PSU or more then it should work in your computer without a problem.
