Video Card Benchmarks

Hey all,

What program can I use to test/benchmark my video card? I recently put a new 9800 SE in and would like to try a softmod on it, but I'm not sure what program to use to see what kind of improvement I get.

3DMark is a good program to test your overall computer

just run some video intensive game and check the FPS(frames per second) you get before and after. almost all FPS (first person shooter this time) have a FPS display...heh more FPS than you can shake a stick at

You can run specific games and stuff to test specific aspects of your card (i.e., shaders, DX8, DX9 etc)
