Video card blunder!!

right, so i got a free copy of vista ultimate so that meant i needed to update my graphics card (cheaply). so stupidly i did little research and got an ATI radeon 9250 (agp 256mb) only to find out now that it doesnt work very well with vista!!! so can someone pease advise me which of the following would be the better option or an alternative. bear in mind i dont wish to spend too much money. thanks

You wont have directX 10 but a 7600GT will run Vista fine.

yeah it will work no problems with it....

im suprised the ATI radeon 9250 didnt work too well with vista

ok- directx 10 is primarily for games though right? i wouldnt be a big gamer so dont think i really need it
