Video Card Brand

Basically to finish off my computer build I'm looking at getting an ATI HD 5770.

My question for the community is, which brand is best... and does brand make a difference in performance.

These two cards are on sale at my local shop:

XFX Radeon HD 5770 850MHZ 1GB 4.8GHZ GDDR5 2XDVI HDMI PCI-E Video Card
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?sku=48038&vpn=HD577XZNFC&manufacture=XFX&promoid=1061

Powercolor Radeon HD 5770 PCs 875MHZ 1GB 4.9GHZ GDDR5 2XDVI HDMI DP DIRECTX11 PCI-E Video Card
http://ncix.com/products/index.php?...1GBD5-PPG&manufacture=PowerColor&promoid=1061

Now, i've never heard of powercolor so I'm a bit biased to the XFX... but does it make a difference which I go with. Clearly the powercolor one is cheaper, but is it worth spending the extra for the XFX brand?

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I myself would go with the XFX brand. I don't like off brands which is what powercolor is.

XFX, plus xfx's come with a double lifetime warranty, which is great if it breaks or you ever want to sell it

i have the xfx hd 5770 (fully enclosed one, not sure of the difference). i definitely like it. would recommend it. xfx's warranty is great. i do not have experience with powercolor but i have heard that they are an ok brand.

According to specification, powercolor should run faster.
I would personally go for powercolor for its price, unless you want the warranty from XFX

in a lot of cases its good to just buy for warranty. Especially, if it's a reference card as the brand isn't going to matter as far as quality. Unless of course it's not reference then you may want to do some research.
