Video Card compatibility help

My motherboard is an 'Intel Rock Lake D865PERL' and was wondering if I could be lead to the right direction to which video cards are compatible with it. I purchased an 8800Gt before hand which I couldn't use, since I had no Pci-e :( So, not wanting to make the mistake twice, would appreciate help with what graphics card I can use!

I have tried to Google this information, but ended confused, since a bunch of different AGP slot pictures came up during one of the search, having like 6 different kinds. If you need more information with my motherboard, I can copy it word for word with what the program Everest lists.

I am not looking to buy a new computer until next year, or maybe I will purchase a laptop along the way, as I will be heading off with the Navy, so I am only looking for a short-term will do video card that will upgrade my 5200FX ~ Help will be appreciated, thanks in advance.

That board only has an AGP slot, and so you would need an AGP graphics card. As far as im aware there is only one kind of AGP slot.

I think the best available is the ATi 3850 at around £80-90 (UK)

There are several different AGP slots. Is this your boad? If so, you have a AGP 4X-8X slot.

Which means the notch is in the back. Any 4X-8X AGP card will work. They did make some AGP cards that had the slot in the front and back and was compatible with 2X-4X and 4X-8X slots.
