Maddhatter New Member Jul 28, 2006 #4 and i had a 9600 pro with a P4 2.5 Ghz with 1 Gb of ram and doom 3 ran on low/medium settings still not great i did have lag spikes

Click to expand... KM-400 - this is AGP-8x chipset. So I could recomend you GeFoece6600 or 6600GT and try to overclock your CPU to get a better result!

Saurian Member Sep 27, 2006 #7 Duron's/Athlons of that vintage ran hot. I wouldn't really try to push it hard on an overclock without investing in a new cooler.
