Ive got an Acer Aspire 5630, Intel Core 2 Duo processor T5500
(1.66 GHz, 667 MHz FSB, 2 MB L2 cache)
15.4" WXGA Acer CrystalBrite LCD (16ms)
Intel Graphics Media double layer
(support DVD+R Double Layer/DVD+RW)
1GB DDR2
802.11a/b/g wireless LAN

And I know that the video card isnt very good (I think its a Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset Family but not totally sure)

Is it possible to get a new video card for a laptop? some of my friends say it is, some say it isnt.

Thanks!

I think most of tose ACer Laptop cpmes with the Mobile Intel® 945GM Express Chipset Family not unless those high end Acer laptop

i dont think youre able to upgrade video cards in laptops unless you have a new Ati or Nvidia card already isntalled. and then its still very expensive.

Yeah you need to have some sort of discrete chip, some S3 (unichrome?) and other similar manufacturers had ionboard and expansion, but iirc that was short lived.
