video card help

ok, i have an emachine633is, with windows xp. i play all sorts of games on it. i have recently run into a problem playing one of the games. i was told that to fix the problem, i probably just needed to get a better video card. ok.... i know almost nothing about working on computers. sooooo, i need some help. first, where do i find the video card in my computer, and second, what kind of video card could i get, that would work really good, on a limited budget?
 
First, to get a video card you need to know what kind of slot is open for it, (i.e. AGP, PCI-ExpressX16) if you dont what what slot your computer has open it up and take a look, the video slot is usually above the PCI slots.. white ones that look like __ _ lol

If your still dont sure google images for AGP slot and/or PCI express X16

ok, i looked, and i have 2 long white ones, and above those, there is a small brown one... like this___ ___...now what

oh and, there is nothing in the brown slot...does that mean i don't have a video card in my computer?

it looks similar to that, but i only have 2 white things and a very small brown thing. and the brown one only has 2 slots in it,...like this ___ ___.

whats the pci thing do?
 
yea pretty sure its AGP but 8x video cards and 4x agp slots dont do well with each other.

PCI thing? as in the slot or video card?
