Video Card Help...

Its being used or you wouldn't have any video since you have the monitor attached to the connection on the video card and not connected to the onboard connector on the motherboard. Looks like you have to get this diagnosed by someone in your area. From what you have told us, you are using the dedicated video card so don't know why you are having issues.

Do you have both 6 and 8 pin pci express power connectors going to the video card?

What power supply do you have?

Well I tried the go back to the driver before the latest one and thrn reinstalling it... nothing changed... Looks like I'll have to call AMD tomorrow.... Thanks guys for the help
 
well i got the video card working properly ,but now the sound will randomly cut off for a second ... it says in the bar that it has been unplugged. ,but i do not unplug it and it is a working audio cord..
 
We've tried helping you. If performance isn't what you expect then you will need to take it to someone and have them find out whats going on. You will needs hands on to determine what is going on. We can't do that over the internet...
 
no i mean the sound thing i got the video card working somewhat ,but the sound will randomly cut out for a swcond.... ckeck my next to last post...
