Video Card or SOMETHING PROBLEMS

Hello, im trying to play css on a 8600gts 256mb card and my internet is all good and my rates are good but i have bad lag. It all started after we overclocked it and it froze up. What could the problem be, the fps is jumping form like 120fps to like 8 and to 50 and its continously switching around???? WHAT COULD THE PROBLEM BE OT ALL MY LAG????? It started lagging bad after the overclocking. It was fine before

You did revert said overclock? Made sure there were no obvious connection errors, high ping, playing on a server far away, or on a slow connection?
 
we have t1, ping is like 30-7ever server even my buddies who lives down the street, everything is clocked back to factory.
 
uninstall the current drivers and installed the latest ones... even if you already have the latest ones.. a reinstall wont hurt
 
figured it out, the pci express 6pin connector, isnt met for the 6pin video cards, it doesnt power it right, got an adapter and it works, thanks
