video card problem

hi guys not really a big problem persay but my 2900gt card will only show a 1.0 in windows vista and always tells me there is new hardware no matter how many times i refresh it, if anyone knows the cause for this nussance it would be appreciated.

Hi Dr Donut,

Have you installed the Catalyst Software Suite? with all the drivers and updated your DirectX ?

this link is only for Windows vista 32 Bit post a reply if you need the 64Bit download

The DirectX can be downloaded from Microsoft's site just google it
