The other day I raised the performance on my graphics card by moving the slider on the advance button toward performance and away from quality and i notaced a very extreme diference in a good way on the graphics quality, on the game halo i could put all the graphics to best on the menu but after about thirty mins. the computer had a "windows has just recovered from a critical error" screen and I put the slider back were it was after the computer rebooted, and I was just wondering if that error was caused by this and if it was could i still run the computer with the slider back to the better setting with out hurting the computer any.

The graphics card I have is a RADEON X300 SE 128MB HyperMemory.

P.s. it done this with in 35 minutes

i get these message but i still dont care any ways, ive dont it with a radeon xpress 200 or 300 might be same and it works but the thing is is that the card is onboard and on the motherboard where there is most likly no fan so if its not overclocking you should be fine but im nto positive

An illegal error eh? I remember getting these way back on windows 98.. they never caused a problem, except making me lose some game progress.. save alot!
