So ime having some trouble buying a video card. i had a 9800 pro which broke. it worked well, but not very well. I baisically have to choose between a Geforce 6800 128Mb DDR-256 bit video card or a 6600GT 256 Mb GDDR3-128bit. Both made by xfx. their about the same price i just wanted to know which one would work best with my system.
AMD XP 2800+ OCed from 2.08 to 2.4
512 RAM PC3200
Asus Mobo AGP 8X 3.0
and other things
i dont usually have problems running HL2 and css with 512 ram But that was when i had a 9800 pro 256Mb. now i just dont even bother playing games with onboard video.
I might just wait and see what the market does because i cant even play games right now with a broken hand. speaking of which sorry about spelling errors because ime typing with only one hand.

its a better GPU. and it runns cooler as the 6600GT
