video card question

I have chosen the nvidia 7950gt 512mb. Should this Vcard go with windows xp or vista?

Is it true that windows xp pro can support dual core processors? I am not buying the pro version due to its high cost. So is there a performance loss if I select Windows XP Home to go with the althon64 X2 5000+ processor?

Both pro and home support dual-cores, and there would be no performance loss, I'm using Home, myself. Though as you're getting a dual core, and XP, they're are some fixes you'll need to DL to get full responsiveness, the amd dual core patch, and the amd dual core driver, to name the most important.
