Video Card suggestion

Well I have the 7600GT and with playing FEAR I can play on Medium settings which is ok for what I spent on this computer set up. My question is this, if I get SLi with the 7600GT's, Will this perform any better than ONE 7950GT? if so, how much? Or should I just get one 7950GT?

Don't care for it nor do I care for Vista. So DX9 is fine with... If someone would suggest a good card I can play FEAR on max settings thats is PCI-E... Price max is maybe $300, give or take a few dollars.

Or should I wait a few months till DX10 cards drop to like 250-300 bucks? Will FEAR, Counter strike work with DX10?
 
The 8800 GTS 320MB model IS $300....and DX10. Just go for that. :cool:

And yes, FEAR and Counter Strike will work with a DX10 card.
 
One 7950 would be better than two 7600 in SLI, but I can max fear out pretty much and I,m running two 7600 in SLI. But right now I would wait till the lower end 8000 come out to check prices on both.
 
yeah.. the 8600 ultra is being released in a couple weeks and will play dx9 games at the 7950's level.. price will be $180.

Thats true.. ATi's x2600's could be better than Nvidia's equivalent. And That's what i'm doing.. I want to see what mid-level card comes out on top.
