video card suggestions?

Hey guys I am new to the whole custom pc game and I just finished my first one. Its not to great, but it gets the job done. I am looking to Install a better graphics card. Could anyone help me with any suggestions? I am looking to get atleast 512mb of memory if you could help me that would be great.

I am just looking to get a good deal on one. I don't really have a particular amount I want to spend.

First thing I would do is put a Dual Core CPU on that board
because that will bottleneck a better card.

I have the same board in my Media PC in my living room.

I had a 8600GTS in it with a 500watt "el-cheapo" power
supply and it worked fine on lower settings.

What games do you want to play?

Upgrade CPU to AMD Athlon X2 7850
Video card to ATI 4850 512MB
Make sure your PSU have at least 450W
