Video Card Suggestions

Im looking for a video card thats around $220. ive been looking around but im not really good at this sort of stuff. My main reason to buy it is to be able to play HL2. would like some suggestions on what would be the best video card. im willing to play more if its worth it

Well the best reccomendations for HL2 is a Radeon 9600, but it doesn't even need that much to play it. So maybe a Radeon 9600 would be your choice or GeForce FX 5500....I dont know if they have Radeon 9800 or GeForce FX 5800 or something for $220...I havn't seen any that cheap in australia

i would suggest geting the Geforce 5500FX 256 mb mainly because i have it and it runs great on maxed graphics and i got it for $ 149.99 CAN after rebates of course.
