video card upgrade comparison

hello, and thanks for your help in the past

i was wanting to purchase BF2, and it appears my nvidia geforce fx 5200 AGP 128MB just isn't going to cut it.

so... i was going to upgrade. i was wanting to know the difference between the eVGA nVidia GeForce 6600 GT 128MB PCI and the GeForce FX5500 256MB DDR AGP

for instance, why does the one with more memory cost less? and what are the major differences (specifically for gameplay)?

Just to let you know that BF2 requires 5900 seriers and up if im not mistaken.

I play it on a 6600 and 6800gs. So i would say get atleast a 6600 series.

i have an AGP slot, and oops lol yeah i guess it does take 5900 or above... in that case..

6800 GS hands down.

I have the 6800GS and itll handle BF2 cranked all the way with everything maxed.

More expensive then the GS, overclocks worse.
