Video Card Upgrade

Well, it depends, as the PSU in the Dell may not be up to powering a good video card. It would have been a much better idea to make your own computer. This being said, what card do you have in it already?

Edit- i just looked at the specs, and guess what! you have to buy a low profile video card, to boot.

I think it is important that we verify why type of bus your motherboard has...the first link was an AGP card, and you linked a PCI-E graphics card......so what type do you have?

Actually, the card i mentioned was AGP anyways. I would get the X1550, but dont expect it to game very well. You will have to take up to PCI slots, as well, but it is better, a wonder i couldnt find that. wierd.

My board uses pcie 16x, and I do intend to buy a card with the intention of playing games. If I cant do this with a low pro card, whats a good case I could move the system into because the computer is accessed from the right side so I need a case that mounts the same way

You are out of luck in that area. The motherboard for that Dell is a BTX motherboard, fitted with proprietary fittings so that it will just fit in the Dell case. The PSU also would probably not fit in a third party case. You are stuck with low profile cards for the moment.

Most likely, no. The fittings on the motherboard will be in different places, also, dell uses proprietary fittings for PSU connectors also, so that is out of the question.
