This might be nothing but.. my whole system is new and so I want to increase it's longevity as much as I can. When I start Crysis my video card makes a high pitched whine until it reaches the menu. I have played the game at a friends house who has a weaker card than me and his does not do that. So I got a little paranoid.
I have an ATI Radeon HD 4850 and my friend had a Nivida 9600.
Should I be worried? The whine eventually goes away. But it doesn't do that for any other game. It's a really high pitched sound. Crysis is running on default settings.
