Video Card with HDMI question

Hello everyone,
It might be a stupid question but I wanted to get some advice from the experts. I have an computer that probably 4 years old. I need to put in a new video card and thought, why not get one with HDMI in it. The thing is I see that it has audio that has to be hooked up to S/PDIF on the motherboard. I added the link to my mobo. Can anyone tell me if there is something I could do in order to get the S/PDIF hooked up to this mobo? Thanks for all your help in advance

Hi freddyb44,

Not a stupid question. You want to look for the audio headers on your mother board. There should be a two pin set labeled SPDIF. This is what you want to connect to your graphics card. Looking at this, it should be in the lower left of your motherboard (the little green header block).

Thanks

Thanks a lot for the answer, I like this answer, I thought for a moment that my comp was too old for that kind of card. I knew I came to the right place. Thanks again. :good:
