i would say go with the 7800gtx so that later you can upgrade to two

Yes, 7800GTX is your best bet. Also, with the sli, u can always throw two of them in there when the GTX starts getting old and basically have new graphics.

2 6600GT in SLI equals about a 6800GT, and 2 6800GT's just beat a 7800GTX. so go figure

Sorry buddy, way off. The 7800gtx will easily see off the 6800gt sli. It will fall behind a 6800ultra sli however

I read in several forum that a 7800GTX will beat 2x 6800GT's also.

Yes, u probably thinking of that one guy that had those ruined by water cooling.....he beat a GTX, but thats because he OC'd as much as he could.

also, if u want to save a little, the 7800GT has seen only 1 or 2 fps off from the GTX on many games. So the 7800GT is probably the best value.

ive seen reviews where 2 6800GT's beat the 7800GTX. but still, its a close call

ive only seen two 6800 ultra beet a 7800gtx in some reviews but you never no if you find it post a link
