do you need a specific video card for a computer? I would like to purchase a video card for my computer, but want to know if i have to buy one specifically made for my pc.

do you have AGP or PCI-E? once you figure out what you have then any card in those wll fit in your computer.
 
haha im not sure. I have a Compaq presario SR1103WM. Its not the best gaming computer and im trying to reduce the lag.
