Im making videos on my computer, using fraps and Vegas studios. Now Fraps dosn't compress, so they fill like 50 mb for 30 secs, which is WAY too much.. With vegas i can make it into windows vidio, but not the Windows medie player, (my computer crashes, why, no idea.) Do u guys know any program that might compress it into good format, that might make 30 min like 200 mb instead.. and also make it internet compatible, so i can post the videos..

you have to choose which format you want to save.
I often use AVI or .mov (both of them has got grat quality)
you have to choose the quality of the video from the settings before you save the video.
your computer crashes because of three reasons:
it might be 1. you dont have enough memory, 2. you do otherthing while you are saving the video. 3. sometimes of you use the illegal versions of the programs and when you CRACK them, the crack file may destroy the program in some sections.

Anyways u say AVI, yes i did that, but 1 min is like 200 mb, and im wanting a lot more for that space... all films on the internet, etc game movies (wow for instance) got great length, acceptable quality, and dosn't fill as much.. i mean 30 min would be like 2gb in AVI,,,, What format should i use for making an internet film, DIVX, i doubt the internet sides would actually read those!
