Does anyone know any good video editing software?

I want to cut videos and then stick videos together anyone know of any software? Not really bothered about price :)

I recently bought Pinnacle Studio version 12. It is pretty easy to use and has tons of options. You can adjust sound levels throughout the video, cut and trim multiple video clips, add pictures and slides, cut and trim multiple music clips throughout the video plus more. It has hundreds of DVD menu and transition effects as well. It also has a DVD/CD case maker. That's really easy to use and makes studio quality cases if you have a printer and buy the right paper. I was surprised it come with a separate burning program also. I used it a couple times to make CDs...worked great.

It has dozens of options when you publish the movie. Tons of formats and quality selections. Everything from Full HD to direct upload to Youtube.

It cost me, I think I bought it for $69. It was 20% off at my local store.

I bought version 12...now version 14 is out.

Camtasia is screen capture software, not really a full blown editing suite. I own a license to camtasia and I use it to make tutorials, and training videos at work.

Really, you need to look at Final Cut, Premiere, video toaster, or the like to get real professional editing features.

To be honest, iMovie HD for Mac OS X is pretty powerful for what it is. I think there is also an Adobe Premiere light or something too.

If you really want a proffessional looking job at a reasonable price, then Sony Vegas Pro is really the one and only choice. It is now up to Version 9. It can also be purchased as a package deal with Sony DVD Architect. Both are very sophisticated products, although relatively easy to learn, if you apply yourself to it regularly. There are also many Help Groups to guide you along the way. Good Luck.
