Video encoding: video and audio out of sync :(

I was converting some videos for my iPod using iMToo video converter, and the first few times it worked perfectly. No issues of any sort.

However, the most recent batch of conversions came up with a really annoying audio sync problem. At first it is fine, but as the video progresses, it seems to get more and more ahead of the picture and by the end, its a good two seconds ahead. Any ideas on what may have caused this?

Hey man, this annoyingly happens to me only when I do other stuff on my computer that takes a bit of processing power, while encoding video. If i leave my computer completely alone, it seems to encode the videos fine. The software I'm using to convert video is SUPER.

Were you doing anything taxing on your computer while converting?

Hmm, I don't really remember, but its possible. That would make sense too. The first few times I used the program it worked perfectly, but not later on. I'll try converting at night when I'm sleeping.
