M mikejr New Member Aug 17, 2005 #2 Lots of software can do this - even Flash to some extent. Your best bet id to google for a shareware utility for the specific formats you want to convert.

Of the two I would recommend TMPGEnc because QuEnc requires an avisynth script file for input. However, free, TMPGEnc will only encode to MPEG-1 indefinitely, encoding to MPEG-2 is free for ~30 days but a 'premium' function.
