Video Graphics card and Motherboard Question

So, I want to get a new graphics card to run Guild Wars 2, but I'm not sure that if I get that graphics card, will I have to get a whole new motherboard? I've heard that some people have to do that depending on their video card. Also, if I don't, and all I have to do is get a new video card, how much does the NVIDIA 7800, or a better one then that cost?

*INFO*

Graphics Video Card - NVIDIA GeForce 6150SE nForce 430

Processor - AMD Athlon(tm) II X2 250 Processor 3.00 GHz

Installed memory (RAM) - 4.00 GB (3.75 GB usable)

System Type - 64-bit Operating System

I hope that that's enough info on my computer. If you need anything else, I'll try to find it. Thank you :)

What motherboard do you have? I'd imagine you have a PCI Express slot. The only other thing I imagine you'd need is a stronger power supply.

2A99 6.01 is the model. Not what about the motherboard itself though. I tried the CPU-z, on the Graphics Interface, but it's grey, not sure why though :/

Is this a store bought pc? If so, then just give us the make and model. Most likely though the cpu will bottleneck the gpu.

Yes it is. The model is 2A99 6.01

By make, if you mean manufacturer, then: PEGATRON CORP.

If the brand, then: American MegaTrends Inc.

You'll need a new power supply. But I would probably recommend a card along the lines of this.

But it all really depends on what other games you may want to play.

You'll need at least this power supply.

you can get a 7750, 7770, or 55ti for a little more and be better off than with a 450, but the 6670 is pretty good.

and you never answered in another thread where the guy posted it, but this iir had higher amperage but for a good bit less and should be just as good build quality, although the rebate on that would make it less but never really on rebates
