I have a program called Format Factory it is to convert video files from one format to another.

I just have one thing I don't understand?

I am converting a VOB file that is off a DVD I have and in the setting you can pick a lot of things.
Frame Rate Frame Size I get all this.

But for video Bit Rate it has a dropdown list. If I pick the word Default from the list am I right it will use the same Bit Rate as the origanle file it is converting?

If you check the properties of the file you should be able to find all the info you need.

Frame rate for DVD's is 24FPS, bit rate I'm not too sure about. is there no "Same as input" or "Same as source" option?

Well it has a dropdown list with all diferant Bit Rats listed.

Or I can type in what I want.

But at the top of the list it has the option Default.

Would this be same as sorce?
