Video on both monitors

I have a dual monitor setup on a 7600 gt and when I play a video in realplayer, windows media player, or nero showtime and I stretch the video across both monitors, the video only shows up on 1 of them. Does anyone know if there is a media player that would put the video across both? ( If I use the "record to harddrive" thing in nero vision, it gives me my web cam across both monitors , so I know it is possible)

That's an old unresolved problem there apparently. In one situation WMP shows up full screen on the second monitor while being seen as a window on the first. http://www.peterprovost.org/archive/2003/08/11/693.aspx

ATI cards have the Catalyst Control Center with the edge for extending desktops across a twin monitor setup. If you are unable to tweak the display using the NVidia software there a more specific visual script will be needed. But the main problem with most players including WMP is the need for hardware acceleration where the display is focused singularly to one application. A cloned desktop might get away with it rather then trying to extend the player across multiple screens.

I currently have my dektoop set as one in a resolution of something like 2056X768, and it still doesn't work

That may be half of the problem there. Most players only support upto a specific screen resolution. By increasing the width to the max and then trying to extend that would seem to conflict with itself. Try more reasonable res like 1280x1024 or even down to 1024x786.
