I have a video for the new MGS trailer that I got from a promotional site...but it looks to be REALLY hi def and always opens a video window thats too big for my screen...that alone isnt a problem, but it always plays choppy and the audio lags a bit.

another problem...i have other vid files that ONLY play the audio, even if i open my computer's DVD software.

Any ideas?

Try playing the files that are audio only with VLC,

It's one of the best free media players, and comes packed with it's own codec set making it hassle-less. As for the High-def MGS trailer, it could simply be lagging your system, try it in VLC to see if it improves matters.

I think it's your processor.

Which one do you have?

As for the videos that only play audio, you need to update your codecs. You could use VLC player, but downloading the divx codecs would probably fix it and then you could still use your favorite movie player.
