All my videos are coming out pixelated when i open them. It only does this when i resize them, but keeping them at the defult size is to small for me. It was working fine like a week ago. I have tryed playing videos on 3 different media players and they all do the same thing. I have tryed restoring my computer back 2 weeks ago when they were working but still no luck :(.

Can anyone help me? Please?

And you're sure their resolution isn't just too low? You could try with a big movie, or a DVD, if that isn't the problem you should uninstall and reinstall your codecs

Well you first have to ever install some, if you didn't, there's nothing to remove. But are you sure its the codecs fault and not your movie files just being too small? It does that with every movie file?

How do i reinstall my codecs? Sorry but i dont know much about all this.
Dont just reinstall ... many codecs tend to confluct with each other. So the first step is to REMOVE your current codec configuration and then install afresh. I have a pair of codec guides here about halfway down

it sounds to me like the bitrate is too low, a in mpeg2 a bitrate of 2mb/s will even give you low quality, a good bitrate for mpeg2 is 4mb/s almost the same as dvds(nvm, i think dvds are 8mb/s not sure), if you told us what you are trying to copy it would help, and the format:)

4mb/s is a good start , then go up from there for better quality
