video "recording"

Hey!

This might be a stupid question but I was wondering is there a program or smthn that records what you do on your screen. Like the program "Audacity" but that's just for sound, I mean like video. Aaaagh... I hope you understand me. Anyways, just wondering, is there? thankyou so much for any help. :)
 
FRAPS has an option to do that, but it might just be gamming. Only way to capture the desktop crap I can think of right off is to just go from TV-Out to a capture card...

You can use it in games, DivX, and Windows media player.
