Hello, i recently swapped my videocard out, to be re used at a later date, and i am temporarily using my onboard video. i have the drivers for it and everything, but any video i watch, whether it be a movie, or a music video skips. what could be the cause of this? thanks.

Yes but what mode are the drives running in?

To ensure your drives are operating in DMA mode: (1) Control Panel, (2) System, (3) Goto the Hardware Tab, (4) Device Manager, (5) IDE ATA/ATAPI Controllers, (6) Right Click on Primary IDE Channel --> Properties, (7) Goto the Advanced Settings Tab, Make sure both drop down boxes say 'DMA if Available', Click OK,(8) Right Click on Seconady IDE Channel --> Properties, (9) Goto the Advanced Settings Tab, Make sure both drop down boxes say 'DMA if Available', Click OK, (10) Reboot.

i did what you said, and one was set in a different mode so it probably helped somehow, but it unfortunetly didnt solve my problem... thanks for the help tho man. any other ideas?

through more searching i found that it ses max memory for video was 64mb, in use was only 16mb, how can i use all 64mb? i sound like a major noob, im realy not. but onboard video is new to me.

Youll have to go into BIOS and change the video memory mapping to 64MB (do realize that this takes away from the memory available to the system). I suspect that your system may just "not be up to it" .. what are the specs?
