Video software suggestions.

I produce music and for future reference would like to know if there is a piece of software that can have videos (or just short clips) imported and be played as short one shots.
I plan to be playing music and have some random clips playing off to the beat of the song.
Any software anybody knows of that may fill the requirement?
*First post, excuse if in wrong area etc
 
Virtual DJ can do that. It's not free though. It's a music mixer but you can also mix with audio and add video to it too. It will do the job but like i said it's not free.
 
You can do all that from the software that is already the part of the Windows ME,Windows XP or Windows Vista operating system.The software is called WINDOWS MOVIE MAKER.

+1. Virtual DJ has I guess more fancy features but Windows Movie Maker is also great. :)
 
The thing with Virtual DJ is it seems that you have to be playing the music in that program, where as I use Ableton Live. Not sure how that would work playing them together?
But still thanks everybody!
Im guessing then there isn't any software which is perfect for me.

Hehe its great because its free.:DLoL I am just kidding.Thats not the reason of course.It really is great.:DBut then again it is free so that makes it even greater.:DOf course you must buy Windows OS to have the Windows Movie Maker lol so it actually isnt free xD xD xD Oh man I am saying bullshit.Just ignore me xD
