Is it possible to wirelessly stream video from a PC to a plasma TV via a 802.11g network router? If so, does anyone know what kit is needed at the TV end and whether the picture quality is any good?
 
ive never heard of that
maybe possible on some top of the line tvs and they would say that in the instructions but normal tvs, no you cant you would need something to act as a media centre, for example i can stream from my computer to my ps3 and then watch on my tv but there is no way to connect direct to the tv
can you not just connect your pc to the tv via a vga or hdmi cable? then you wouldnt need to stream anything
 
Many thanks, seems like a wireless media player or streamer is what I need. A direct cable would be too long.
