Viewing Permissions

Hey,
Is there a way to restrict users from seeing the permissions on a file/folder? I don't want them to know that I have full control on every single file/folder in this system, especially their personal drives which they think no one can access but them. Unfortunatly, when they look at the secruity tab, they see my rights there. Maybe Group policy? Thanks!!

If you type gpedit.msc in the run box on an XP and I think a 2000 comp you might find what you need there.

Yeah, I had a look and there is a "disable security tab" setting ( or something like it). Unfortunately it disables for all users, including admins. So, I will just apply that setting to a folder containing the standard users so it won't affect me. Hopefully! :)

I don't no much about gpedit but see if you can do it under the user configuration tree. That might affect the user that your log on as i would assume.
