Viewsonic Vx922 Or Vx924?

At that low of a response time, I doubt you will even notice a difference. It all comes down to if you are willing to spend the money, and if you really want to get a great monitor, which those two both are, then go for the 2 ms.
 
I can tell you that the VX924 is a great monitor for a gammer... I have one. If I where buying a new screen today I just might buy the VX922. It where not available when I made my purchase although I doubt a difference would be noticed. If you feel like saving $50. though you wont be disappointed in the VX924.

the reason i've considered it though is because the monitor itself is lower than the 924, and seeing as both have no height adjustment, it would be a better candidate for me because the shelf where my monitor sits is already 4 inches above the actual desk itself...

Im going to be building another computer in less than a year
but ill be keeping this one
so if its no good then ill just be SOL for a year
my CRT is flickering really badly like its about to burn out

so its kind of unexpected to have to buy one

The monitor i went with has really positive reviews so well see what happens
 
The 922 has better everything as far as a quick glace over can tell .. the dotpitch is silly high though... IMO, the 922 is worth the extra $50

this computer will become my GFs in a few months anyway so ill save the cash
