Virgin Media from 20mb to 50mb

Hello people. i have virgin media 20mb broadband service and the 50mb service/package is NOT YET available in my area yet but i got told by virgin media that people on 10mb will automatically get switched to 20mb and 20mb will automatically get switched to 50mb service.

Does this cost more if they auto matically switch me to the 50mb service?

Dont trust what Virgin media say....They give you a set price when you phone up and when you have it all up and running they say you have to pay more.
