Right i have resently (well a year ago) upgraded to Vista from XP. which is fine everything is going well, except a program that i use requires dx8vb.dll to be installed. but from what i can find out that near imposable. so what i was thinking of do was installing a virtural PC onto my system and installing vista onto that, as i do not wish to have to operating system install as two seperate partitions. this way i can use Vista and XP at the same time (before you ask my system as easy handle this) and i was just wonding if someone could recomend me a gd virtural PC as im not very familar with these.
Here is what i require
1) free or at least cheap
2)to be able for the Virtural PC to be able to talk to Vista as though they were to seperate PC network together (Make sharing document easier
3) for the space used by the virtural PC to expand as needed and not just have a set space alucation that i can change.
4) to beable to be able to copy the virtual PC Viruterale drive onto a USB Key so i can conect it at work and contiue to work (im having a simular problem there.
I know all these can be done because i have used a virtural PC that did all this stuff at my last job. But i forgot the name of the software.
thanks in advance and sorry about any spelling mistakes
