A couple of days ago my mac using friend sent me a link which I cunningly clicked on. A load of that annoying 'buy my virus removing software' stuff has been loaded on to my computer. A background (which isn't actually a background, you click on it it goes to a website) which looks similar to the 28 days later dvd cover loads up every time I start up and 3 'virus remover' icons (which are links to websites) appear on the desktop. Various popups and appear from time to time, and the program you're using gets deselected (so if you're typing it will suddenly select another open window. Various 'windows' (which i suspect are nothing to do with windows) error messages and warning appear, and it's all just pissing me off. Also, task manager was 'blocked by the admin' (or somehitng similar) for a while, but that's stopped after various anti-adware programs have been downloaded...

Anyways, this is the 'hijackthis' log yonder sticky suggested posting, please help me with this, whoever programs this shit needs their ****s bashed in

Your log reveals a backdoor trojan. These can severely compromise personal information which could lead to identity theft.

I would counsel you to disconnect this PC from the Internet immediately. If you do any banking or other financial transactions on the PC or it if it contains any other sensitive information, please get to a known clean computer and change all passwords where applicable, and it would be wise to contact those same financial institutions to apprise them of your situation.

Though the Trojan has been identified and can be killed, because of it's backdoor functionality, your PC may already be compromised and there is no way to be sure your computer can ever again be trusted. Please download SmitfraudFix (by S!Ri)

Double-click SmitfraudFix.exe.
Select option #1 - Search by typing 1 and press "Enter"; a text file will appear, which lists infected files (if present).
Please copy/paste the content of that report into your next reply.

**If the tool fails to launch from the Desktop, please move SmitfraudFix.exe directly to the root of the system drive (usually C:), and launch from there.

Note : process.exe is detected by some antivirus programs (AntiVir, Dr.Web, Kaspersky) as a "RiskTool"; it is not a virus, but a program used to stop system processes. Antivirus programs cannot distinguish between "good" and "malicious" use of such programs, therefore they may alert the user.
