Malwarebytes is either free or pay depending on if you want realtime protection or not. The free version is where it says free download. Or you can click here to download it.

click on the download free version button.

Just make sure you update it before running.
 
If you buy it, BE SURE to save the email. Otherwise your pretty much dead in the water when you have to reactivate the program.

So I download free verson and update it and run it.

Now if it see say 5. Viruses can it remove them or is this were I have to pay????

If so why buy it you can just run it and keep it??
 
how many viruses have you got? a good way to get rid of a lot of malware which i've found is to run a system restore, you tried that?

No, you don't have to pay for the free version. It will remove the infections. The only difference between the pay and free version is that the pay version had realtime protection so its always running. The free version is only an on demand scanner.
