Hey everyone,
My friend is having some trouble's on his computer. First he recieved some kind of dialog or pop-up box that indicated he had a Bloodhound virus. I wasn't there so I don't know if it was an internet ad or not, and he doesn't know enough about computers to be able to tell me from memory.
So anyway, I got him NAV 2005 demo on a CD, he installed it, ran a scan, it found an infected file which it was unable to repair and immediately after that NAV reported it had a missing file and now won't load again. He's running Win 2000 and he thinks his computer is probably P2.
What options do I have to help him in this situation? Should we just re-install his operating system/install XP or are there other things that can be done?
Thanks heaps for any help,
- WJ
