Visiontek 4850 LEDs blinking

I have a 512mb Visiontek 4850, and the LEDs on the back are blinking, they're labelled as D1601 and D1602. I understand that if they're constantly lit that they're respectively heat and power troubleshooters, but they aren't lit, the fan spins up and down, not to 100% though. They blink every 3 seconds or so.

D1601 - Over temp protection enabled

D1602 - EXT 12V fault

Is anything showing up on the monitor at all?

Make sure the power cable from the PSU has not come loose to the graphics card...reseat the card.

If its still the same id RMA it!,Its probably dead or it could be a power supply issue.

I've reseated it, checked the PSU (it's an 850w with 72a on the +12s) and it's still not working, like I said, the LEDs aren't on, they're flashing intermittently, nothing shows up on screen. I was mostly hoping someone's had the same issue. I bought it second hand (on here, shhhhh! it's mitch?) and so RMA/etc. won't be an option, unless Visiontek's going to do something with it.

I had a similar issue with my ASUS 4870. Power issue. Had to RMA it to ASUS.

In your case though, I did a quick google search and found some people with the same issue. You can try resetting your BIOS by removing the CMOS battery and replacing it after a few minutes.

Give that a try and report back.

Yeah cleared the BIOS/CMOS, nothing worked, still taunting me with not being able to watch Lost and porn.

If I get a new one, guarantee my card is just shit, I'll torch it or something.
