Okay I just found out I can get Vista 64-bit for free at my University. Right now I have Vista 32-bit with 4GB of RAM. How hard is it to upgrade to 64-bit? Is it just inserting a CD and clicking "Go"? Haha well I know I would need to upgrade my graphics drivers. I was thinking, if it's free I might as well, but not if I have to reconfigure my whole computer.
Right now I have 4GB in dual channel and I really want to disable my page file. It works except for when I play Crysis, computer runs low on memory and the game crashes. The only problem is I have 4x1GB sticks. I would need to sell all of my memory, and since I'm in dual channel it's probably best to go with 4x2GB. I might be looking at around $120 upgrade, but hey Vista is free. Haha depends how much I can sell my memory for. If all else fails at least I will be able to utilize all 4GB that I already have.
So basically how hard is it to upgrade to 64-bit?
