Vista - Auto System Recovery Everytime

Everytime I start my computer up it automatically comes up with the auto system recovery and I can't click cancel it just basically says not allowed until it is completed fixing then it loads up fine after that.

Any ideas whats wrong? or what to do?

Try a virus-scan, if it comes up positive, get John on the case........

I'd scan hard drive for bad sectors, if thats ok, system restore back as far as you can go (or if you remember when it started happening a date before that).
