Vista Explorer question

i am a long time XP user and have recently upgraded to vista ultimate 64 bit
however i am wondering if i can get vista too show me the preview of pictures
which i usually saw when my folder view was set too thumbnails in xp

obviously because mine is not doing this at all

what view do you have the folder in? views such as "list" or "details" wont show the thumbnail.

i have just realised i dont have the thumbnail option
i am basically resizing the icons
making them bigger displays the icon bigger but dosnt display a preview.
how do i make them thumbnails?

go to folder options in control panel, check under the view tab to see if this is checked "Always show icon, never thumbnails".

Check in Tools - Folder Options - View - uncheck Always Show Icons, Never Thumbnails
