For some unknown reason lately, my explorer has just randomly disappeared, including the start menu and all desktop icons. It either does it at a random time, or when i try and open a folder on my desktop or something. Any help on what is going on?

EDIT: When logging on, I get a pop up that says:

Error in C:\Users\Ryan\AppData\Local\Temp\dsiebuyx.dll Missing Entry: Run

This probably has something to do with it. I tried to go into the Temp folder to empty it, but like i said, the folder wont let me open it.

that dsiebuyx.dll file has something to do with one of your programms that you had installed.. I think ?
see if one of them dosent work correctly ..

and when Explorer stops just open TaskManager and file > new task and write explorer

The only programs i can think of that could be causing the problem would be either my Norton AV, the trial period is over, and i tried to uninstall it but i still have some notification of it by the clock. The same with Lightscribe, ive uninstalled that but theres still a notification of it by the clock.
 
I don't know about Norton .. 'cause I never use it :D
but ttry to go to control panel then programs and features and see if it's still there and uninstall it..
 
If you can't see anything on your desktop all you do is ctrl+alt+delete and open up task manager, then click on file then new task then type in explorer.

I can't.... That's what the thread is about. I cannot do anything with my computer other than use programs. I cannot open anything such as computer, temp, cookies, networking, any folder on my desktop, control panel, anything...

Help still?
