Vista finally ready to be installed?

I had Vista installed on my computer about like 2 months ago and to tell you, it wasn't working too well. First of all, my HD would freeze making weird noise at random times. Graphic compatibility with games was lacking compared to XP.

I was wondering if those problems that I listed above (especially the HD freezes) is a common sympton of Vista a few months back, and is it fixed and fine now? It was my mistake of purchasing Vista that early when it was released, but I was wondering if its ready to install Vista?

weird noise maybe failing hard drive, idid you hear it when XP ws installed?

sure the problems were from vista?
i've been useing it for almost 2 months now without trouble.

I have it on XP and there are no problems at all!

Vista made by HD make the sound (the sound of the HD starting up when you start your computer) periodically freezing my computer for a sec.

When I reformatted back to XP, those problems went away!

ok then yuor computer is probably not vista capable as you thought...
